I never read a story quite like this one. Crux has suspense, action, and love.

Crux went from homeless and almost getting kidnapped to living in her own apartment and having quite a bit of money. All this because a stranger threw money in the air for any to grab. Only difference was that the stranger saw something different in Crux and also gave her a necklace.

This gift offers her strength and knowledge of her heritage. She is needed and will be trained to help end an on-going threat for when she steps in time with her guardian.

All these challenges happen while she entertains a new friendship with the sexy Grey...he is a singer and a engineering student. He comes from wealth and most importantly does not judge Crux for her past instead finds himself intrigued by her story and much more.

The characters in this book were relatable. Witty, funny, annoying, mean, loyal, and sexy. I recommend this book to all. Enjoy!
