Violet Midnight was fascinating and wow, thanks so much Lynn for sending me an ARC I am so glad I was able to get my hands and eyes on this one! Struggling with this tattoo on her wrist that glows every time vampires are near is making hard for Emma who is a vampire hunter to live a normal life. He mentor and her first love was killed leaving her to figure things out for her self and her BFF Ava can not know she is a hunter. But one night Emma meets a boy named Jake and she is not sure who is might be, a hunter like her?! But Jake does not know and needs his own questions.

Emma is such a badass I have to say and the fact she is dealing with so much but still fights on it awesome. I loved the way the story flowed and kept me excited all the way through. Vampires and Hunters and more, it’s just that good. All the struggles Jake has to figure out who he is and Emma maybe finding someone she can share her secrets with is that good. It was cool to watch all the characters develop and I really felt like part of the story.

I found this story interesting as well; it was a different kind of vampire story and GREAT change form all the rest out there. It was more gripping and to see Emma fight for everything she wanted made me feel good.

Lynn did a fascinating job again with this one and I hope to be reading more soon. It had me at the start and wanting more in the end. Love, danger and excitement plus so much more in a paranormal read. I loved it and it’s for sure a 2012 MUST read!
