This was a GOODREADS win for me, and I loved it, I have read a few of her other books and I also enjoyed them. Poor little Carrie, she is not having a good life, when you read books like this sometimes you have to look back on your own life and thank God for how good your childhood really was, I think we sometimes forget the horrible conditions that some children have to live in and that everyone is not so lucky when it comes to family members. But all ends well for Carrie,and maybe I'm sappy, but I love a happy ending. Elizabeth Flock is an awesome writer, you feel the pain, and the joy right along with her characters....Thank you GOODREADS and thank you Elizabeth.
