Nice to finish something in one reading. I was starting to think it was a skill i'd lost. So, compulsively readable and with plenty of great lines, but this installment goes down at a breakneck pace, (the whole plot covers about a week,) much more so than the previous two, which weren't exactly dawdling themselves. Character and setting seem to get pushed a little bit to the side in favour of rushing through the plot, with previously vibrant minor characters like Peter's parents or Molly the Vampire Housekeeper, as well as some new characters, getting too little notice here. (Although I may forgive much if Abigail ends up being the core of Peter's own Baker Street Irregulars.)
