Where Did I Come From? by Peter Mayle
This was my "birds and the bees book." My mother read it to me when I was five. She read it one time, then handed it to me and never mentioned it again. I looked at the pictures until I could read the words, then I re-read that book regularly through about third grade. The part about sex being a really close hug that starts to tickle and feel warm is a description I kept in my head for years. Classic stuff!
