This unclassifiable book (memoir-poetry-essay hybrid) does indeed dance a seductive tango of linguistic and intellectual connection. It's quite beautiful and quite erudite, as I've come to expect from Carson. Ironically, I consumed the entirety of this erotic and meditative series in airport waiting rooms. I'm sitting in one now, actually - worlds away from the Keats allusions and apple branches permeating this work.

The hours-long brain fuzz of loudspeaker announcements prevents me from being more eloquent and informative on this book, but highly recommended!
