Scotland Yard Superintendent Duncan Kincaid’s ex-wife has asked him to investigate the possible murder of a 1960’s poet. While doing so he uncovers layers of secrets, lies, and murders spanning decades.

The reading group rated this book 5.

Everyone liked this book. It wasn’t what they expected. Someone said they thought it might be a British drawing room mystery!)One of the members had been to England and she brought a map of England to the discussion to try and find some of the towns and areas mentioned in the story. They also brought a copy of the biography of poet Rupert Brooke who is mentioned throughout this story. The author did a good job keeping us guessing as to who committed the murder.
