From What I Remember was a cute, fun read! From the first page to the last, this book never slows down. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Max's and Kylie's adventures south of the border.

One thing I really liked about this book were all the twists and turns, I never knew what was going to happen next. I was glued to the pages because I just had to know what kind of trouble Max and Kylie were going to get themselves into.

I thought Kylie was an awesome character, but Max irritated me sometimes. Every single time something went wrong, Kylie was the one who took charge and Max just sat there. I mean there wasn't much he could do in those situations, but I still wished he would man up a little bit.

This story is told from five different points of view. Even though I had a hard time keeping track of who was talking at times, I felt the multiple POV worked in this book. I really liked getting to know more about each character and their backgrounds.

Overall, I thought From What I Remember was a great summertime read and I'm looking forward to reading more from these two authors!
