Adorable artwork, particularly the penguins' facial expressions. Listed at the ALA as the #1 challenged book of 2007 due to homosexuality. However, the overall theme of the book--families may be different, but they are all about love--and the fact that this is based on a true story of three penguins in NYC make this a great read for all ages. Story-wise I wasn't as impressed with this as I have been with other children's books, but I do believe this is a lovely story which ought to be read and enjoyed widely.
