When I reach for a contemporary novel I'm looking for something fun. I want romance, I want giggles and I want something that I can't or simply don't want to put down. And if you say the word road trip I am SO IN. Who doesn't love a good road trip? At least in their literature. ;]

I thoroughly enjoyed the characters in this novel overall, particularly Kylie and Will. I loved that we got to hear the story through various perspectives, basically getting everyone's two cents on what was going on but not quite. Things overlapped but not so much that you get bored if you get what I mean. There was a give and take, a bit of a flow and it was all good. Anyway. Kylie was an uber nerd, the ultimate in good girls who have done no wrong with just enough quirks to make you adore her. Will Bixby was a handful and then some. I loved his snark and wouldn't mind having him as my copilot. I also really liked the fact that every character had something going on, I just wish everyone's stories could have been a little bit more developed. They were there but just not as much of them as I would have liked. I want to know what happens with Lily and Charlie [respectively] especially.

From What I Remember was everything I was looking for in a contemporary, and I simply couldn't have picked it up at a better time. It had me smiling, giggling, and sighing dreamily. The characters were entertaining, the plot utterly outrageous in the most entertaining way and it kept me completely oblivious to the world for the few hours I spent reading it. Up until the last two percent or so for which I put it aside because I wasn't quite ready to wrap things up yet. I wanted more giggles! xD

For those of you that demand all that is realistic, it might not be the novel for you. Some parts of the plot were utterly outrageous and called for you to suspend some disbelief but for me at least I was able to lose myself in the story so well that until I closed the book [or my Kindle!] I hadn't really thought of how crazy it was. It was just a fun story! Four out of five stars for sure, I really liked this one, you guys and would definitely recommend it for peeps looking for a crazy cute contemporary.
