I'm equally in shock as captivated by this novel. It treats a very hardcore subject: slavery (gasp) sex slavery. I felt during the whole story, the pain, the frustration and finally, the need that Livvie had for Caleb, and I have to say that CJ Roberts did an amazing writing job, specially with the male character. They both have issues, are an emotional wreck, but Caleb is really f**ked up.

I mean, he is the 'villain' of the story, but somehow you just can't help feel captivated just as Olivia was by his personality and the way he treated her, not always as a master, but as a lover.

I'm anxiously waiting for the second part to see how their story is going to end because I can sense it's not going to be an easy one.

I highly recommend this novel, believe me, you won't regret it.
