liked it

See my review for "Journey To The End Of The Night" by Celine. Great book, utterly devoid of humor. Unlike Sartre however, Hamsun knows how to make a reader sympathize with a hopeless wretch of a main character. I've heard (and like to believe) that Hamsun died eating hunks of his own flesh. Read this book and you'll believe it too.
Cataloging the books i've read on here makes me realize why talking to girls was not an option in my youth (and adulthood.)
