Damm!! What was this book?! Seriously I’m speechless. So far the best one in this series. I still don’t know how to deal with that end. My God! I still don’t believe it. (view spoiler)
Let me tell you that this book is different from the others. In each book Perry and Dex are in a different stage in their relationship. The first they were trying to trust and know each other. In the second book they were still knowing each other better but also falling in love. And the third it was like they took 3 steps back because they were trying to deal with their feelings and all their issues. And in this book… well it was just AMAZING! Everything and all the others books were a build up for this one and that end.
The good thing about this book is that we had the horror part there, sure, but this book wasn’t about it. It was almost 80% about Perry and Dex relationship. Their paranormal case was in Seattle in a mental institution, so guess what!? Dex and Jenn invites Perry to stay in their house during that weekend. So this book is different because here we have Perry and Dex going through normal things, like in any other relationship. And we also have Jenn. And damm when we put her and Perry together, what a comparison… there’s none actually. But when we do… god! We just see huge difference between them. I don’t understand why Dex keeps torturing himself. And I’m definitely getting in the conclusion that he doesn’t deserves Perry. She’s too good for him. It’s a torture for Perry in the beginning watch them interacting like a couple. (view spoiler) He doesn’t know what to do with his feelings for her anymore. But it was in this book we had the best moments in their relationship. So many sweet moments…

See? Just oh my!!!
And Perry… well when we go back to how she was in the first book and how she is now… she is so womanly now. More confident, more beautiful. It’s really nice to see. But she’s still that girl who demands to know everything about him but still holds back her secrets, although she’s a bit more open now.
The horror part of this book is not so heavy, Karina really wanted to focus on their relationship but still keep the scary moments there, and believe me, there was enough.
So of course, I still didn’t give 5 starts to the other books, but to this one?! I would give more if I could. Karina you rocked in this book.
