Read in June, 2012

Most of it was pretty good - except the Aomame bits in the first 10%, and the Tengo bits in the last 10%.
The ending was... well, the ending of Air Chrysalis was better.

Murakami still manages to pull off nice literary feats (e.g. his description of the Cat Town story, which is better than many other people could have made it by actually writing it).

I've enjoyed it more than not, but it's not one of those books I just couldn't put down or am planning to read again in the next decade (which describes most of what I read anyway, so take with a grain of salt)
