2.5 stars for plot. I liked the story line enough that I'll take the time to read the next novel.
Story line- this novel tells you the story of a girl who dies and becomes a Guardian Angel in her next life.
The author did a good job keeping the pace of the novel.
The main character Kara Nightingale is a very likeable girl, although I wished the author had taken more time to develop this character. David, the other protagonist, is also a likeble guy. Then again, he too needed a little more development. Some of the other characters were a little off in the story. Overall the characters needed more development. I'm hoping book 2 will fix some of that.
Kim Richardson is an author who has a cute concept, but could use some editing assistance. I like what Richardson has done with the first novel, but hope for a stronger second book. I won't even read the reviews on the second book because I want to decided what I think for myself. The plot has potential, but the first book feels like a rough draft.
I think some young teenage girls will love this book, despite the mistakes.
I would rated it PG borderline PG-13.
For parents: there is no sexual content to worry about in this novel.
