For the most part, I liked this book. The world of werecats that the author created was interesting but I don't feel a strong need to read more about them. I wavered back and forth as to whether I felt sympathy or irritation for the main character, Faythe. She complained a lot about wanting to be independent and I didn't completely agree with how she was treated by the males, but I didn't feel a connection with her on a more personal level either. And maybe I missed it, but I never fully understood why she ran out on her relationship with Marc (other than the wanting independence gripe). According to the author's website, this is a first book in the series about Faythe so maybe her motivations are explained more later.

A word of warning to those who care, this book is written in first person POV.
