Memoirs are a favorite type of book for me . . . this one was short, very focused on memories of the upscale restaurant that Charlotte's parents (and then her mother alone) ran in Boston on Harvard Square. Restaurants are lots of work for not a lot of profit but not dull places. Nice to see how Charlotte came to respect her mother's work as she grew older.
