did not like it

Grrrrrrrrrr. For me, this was a MASSIVE dissapointment. I loved the books. I've read the entire Hunger Games Trilogy cover-to-cover three times. But no movie could ever possibly portray and do these books justice. It's sad. Thousands of people read these books just because they made it into a movie. That's no reason. You should read it because you're intregued by the thought of a post-apocalyptic america. A place where one man rules everything. Where teenagers are forced to fight for their lives in an arena just for the entertainment of one city. These people don't see the symbolism. They see money.

Another thing: NONE of the characters in the movie looked at all like I pictures them. Especially Cinna. And District Twelve was foreign as well as the arena. And wasn't the cornucopia supposed to be gold? I mean, they could at least TRY to get some things right. And Peeta didn't even lose his leg! This book is merely a reminder of what a terrible mistake the movie was.
