Anyone interested in the early days of radio and TV news broadcasting will love this book. The research done by the author was astounding he left no stone unturned. Cronkite was an interesting character in his radio days and a real pioneer in the early days of TV journalism. This book takes you through his early steps in both venues. There is much to be discovered about this man who many of us felt we knew.
