Not too bad of a book. Saw some of the twists before they were coming. The final reveal was a bit cliche, but the action scenes were well written. The entire book in itself flowed nice - though the fact all the chapters were only two or three pages seemed a little silly to me. Unnecessary, really. The Ripper also seemed a bit unbelievable, just in the fact he took some serious injuries and still manages to run and jump and fight and stuff. I know he's the big bad villain with all sorts of crazy strengths, but seriously.

I guess if there's a sequel I might pick it up, if only to see if Carver's relationship with his father is explored further - gotta be some conflicting stuff between his love and his hate.
