** spoiler alert ** Don't get me wrong - this was a very fun read. Lots of intrigue going on, very well told, excellent pace. Despite all that, I was disappointed, because of the way Bonnie and Ben's getting together was handled.

I mean, come on. We've been waiting for this for so long, and then there aren't any DETAILS? It doesn't even have to be that graphic. I like explicit sex scenes in books, but if that's not what's called for, then fine, by all means, make it less explicit. But this? No. Just plain disappointing. Not only do I not need to know about one of the protagonist's stale breath, but where's the chemistry? The build-up that at long last gets acted upon, the sizzle? Or at the very least a description of what it does to the Merge? Ben's point of view, Bonnie's point of view? It just wasn't there. At all. And that is a damn shame, because it took away my enjoyment from the rest of the book.
