I really enjoyed this story of urban rebirth. Often the most beautiful sights can be drawn out of the bleakest situation. The little boy creates not just a uniquely beautiful garden, but a place where he can happily raise a family. The tale of intertwined growth is set in a detailed cityscape that becomes much more fun to explore as the mosses and other plants slowly reclaim the terrain. The pictures contain such wonderful mini-tableaus in the nooks and crannies - beauty to be discovered in the hidden corners.
