This book tells about six generations of women in a California family, from the 112-yr old matriarch to her pregnant great-great-great-granddaughter, and the secret to their longevity and good health well into old age. As a daughter, mother and grandmother, I related to the dynamics among the women; and as someone who hopes to be "old" one day (but not necessarily 112!), I was intrigued by that part of the story as well. In addition, the typeface used was very easy to read. This book made for an enjoyable day-long read, made even better by having received this pre-publication copy to review for bookreporter.com. I recommend it!
