This book was really just ok. It may make due as beachy type of vacation read but I wouldn't rush it to the top of the "must read" list.

The story started out pretty good, even if it was a little too predictable, it was entertaining. But somewhere in the middle the story became a less enjoyable... the characters became hard to empathize with and were just not that interesting and the "major events" moved very quickly where as the first section had a much slower, deeper pace. My reaction here might be due to the fact that I find it off-putting to have a story related to public figures so the "major events" are familiar and thus the fictional liberties seem a little harsh/glaring when intertwined with reality. I found it to be distracting.

Maybe I just prefer to keep fiction purely fiction and biographies as biographies.
