I started reading this book with great curiosity and enthusiasm. And i have to say at the start the i was not at all disappointed. The book intrigued me made me want to read more and more. But after sometime i really got tired. The character's bored me because they were always so "good" and "right". Dean Koontz's character's are sometimes really hard to believe in because he portrays them all in black and white. The good guys are always good and bad guys are always bad. There is just no other side to them. In the end they become predictable and "saints". But all in all i felt it was an ok book. He is good enough writer to keep his readers involved and wanting for more.
And i have to say this if this is the best work of Dean Koontz as Stephen King says on the cover then i won't be reading any other book of his.
