I received this book free through Goodreads First Reads. This story spans twenty plus years, and starts with cousins Nick and Helena. As children,they would spend their summers at Tiger House, the family estate in Martha's Vineyard. Now grown, with families of their own, they re-unite at Tiger House. Told through five different characters, the story jumps back and forth between the years of 1945 and 1969, with each character filling in a different piece of the puzzle. The story is richly detailed, with regrets and secrets kept hidden, until one by one they are revealed.
Dust off the porch swing...grab a nice cold drink (preferably in an old jelly jar), and spend the warm, sticky evenings of summer reading this book!
