I downloaded this for free when I decided to give ebooks a try. (On an unrelated note, I still very much prefer paper - so far, at any rate).

I'm not entirely sure I would class this book as a mystery as there really wasn't that much of a mystery involved. Of course you don't know who killed Jenny, but the plot focused more on the fallibility of our justice system than on revealing and following clues. I suppose the ending is meant to surprise you, but to me it felt like a sloppy finish. However, I did find the discussion regarding how much of our jury system is based on theatrics rather than evidence very interesting and thought-provoking.

The characters were a little flat. As a result, it was difficult to find their thought processes realistic.
