it was ok

(Exasperated sigh) I need a minute here folks, this was a rough one. This book contains only half of the Knightquest Saga: Which is The Crusade half, and this focuses on Jean Paul Valley, who has become the new Batman in Bruce's absence and is now acting like a Psychotic dick. The other half that the producers choose not to include? Well that included a tragic Bruce Wayne, the search for Tim Drake's(Robin) missing father, and Bruce's recovery of his injury...WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU DC!? The batman in this book is so unlikable and psychotic that even the good stories in this collection become a chore to read through, personal favorite stories include the Joker teaming up with Hollywood producers to make a movie about Batman's death(which also feature's humorous Siskel and Ebert parodies who serve as Joker's henchmen) and a Environmentalist Catwoman story that's pretty badass. Apparently the Psychotic nature of the "New" batman, was supposed to serve as a parody of popular 90's heroes who had looser ethics than traditional superheros, like Youngblood, Pitt, Brigade, Lunat!k(seriously, that's how it's spelled), and numorous others that have been erased by time(Thank god too). I plan to buy the third volume entitled Knightsend, because it returns Batman to his rightful place, but odds are you folks can probably skip this one and not miss much.
