The story of the Keller womenn, a mutigenerational family of first born daughters who live on the family's olive grove. Anna is trying to become the oldest person in the world, Bets has a husband in the nursing home and secrets about the parentage of her sons, Callie has survived a horrible accident that ruined her career andleft her with a limp and now she is deciding between her olive store and loving the genetisist who is studying the family, Deb is in jail for murdering her husband, and Erin the motherless daughter who was raised by all of her grandmothers and who has to decide what is best for her and her son. The olive grove setting was beautiful, and I felt the despair of the prison, but the ending felt abrupt and unfulfilling.
