This book is pure old Lifetime Movie fluff.... and despite that I loved loved loved it. So perfect for a summer vacation read. Don't expect literary greatness or even a plot anywhere close realistic. The writing is simple but moving, and every character is likable in a non-sickening way. There were a couple parts where the book seems to be jumping the shark (and you may catch on to my figurative and literal intention of that statement when you read the novel) but in the end this book was exactly what I needed this week. And p.s. ... TJ Callahan does waaaayyyyy more for me than any Edward-liquid-topaz-eyes or any Christian-50-shades-of-fucktardedness ;)

Tonya Book club's next pick. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised, but the cynic in me is already cringing.

Lily Totally agree on your review.
