Niledaughter Do you think this one and Elmer give the same message ? if I am goining to buy one of them to my daughter (5 years) , which ? or can I get both ?

Excellent question

they're the same in one aspect; they both feed confidence

but they're very different in scenario and conflict

Camilla Cream is very self conscious and only sees herself through her friends eyes and strives to please others by compromising on what she likes, while Elmer is liked by others for his differences yet he just wants to be like everyone else

they're both essential for building a firm personality in a five years old.

if she can read then start with Elmer for I think it has shorter sentences and the conflict is not as complex as in the bad case

I would get both. I never tire of rereading them at my current age...imagine if I was five :)

Niledaughter Thanks dear , I will think if can get them both :)
