This was recommended to me by a counselor in the stake presidency at church. I was expecting something heavy on doctrine and more academic. It is actually more of a novel, but has some profound insights on the Atonement and why the commandment to forgive others always is imperative to our own happiness regardless of the state of penitence of the offender. I found myself thinking of the Atonement in a completely different way that I had before, and in a way that has helped me to let go of anger towards certain people that I had been nursing grudges against. It is also a short book that can easily be read in just a few hours. I would highly recommend it.
