This is the third in the President's Vampire series. I liked it, but not as well as the first two. Perhaps I am getting tired of Cade's angst -- seems this often happens in vampire series. I suffer along with the main character's guilt -- and after a while I just want him/her to bite someone and get if over with. However, the political intrigue is pretty interesting -- if one cares about the candidates' methods and madness. And there was a very nice description of Air Force One and the protocols associated with it and the Secret Service. I wonder how accurate that information is. All in all, not a bad read, but I am not sure I'll do #4 when it comes out. May be through with Cade and his guilty conscience.
