A great collection of essays that offer more insight into the characters created by Joss Whedon (don't be mislead by the title, this is not a study of Joss himself ;)). The essays look at the characters and themes of Serenity, Buffy and Angel series from the perspective of universal myths, feminist theories, religion and much more. The essays are not overly scholarly, they are easy to understand even if the reader lacks expertise in the field of psychology, and they're written with spunk and sometimes humour.
