I need to start off by saying; that I love the Breed books. They're one in a long line of guilty reading pleasures. If you read all 27 books you know the formula. I had huge issues with "Liza" ... she's supposed to be independent and strong, yet what came across was a wishy-washy heroine who couldn't make up her damn mind. Sorry, but a strong, independent woman knows her mind and heart. She grated on my nerves until the very end. I was also not happy about how the book just ends so abruptly.

Before you think I hated this book. I didn't. I loved parts of the book, the mystery part of who is who and all the unraveling of the secrets. Stygian was a saver because if he wasn't a great hero this book would have landed in my DNF pile. Jonas is his usual dickish self but I kinda adore him. I have no idea what Dog and his crew is up to? So, I'll be back for some more torture when the next Breed book is released. I must confess to skimming a few sex scenes, they were redundant and I don't care if her who-ha smelled like honeysuckle.
