Worth the Risk (Harlequin More than Words)
by Meryl Sawyer
by Meryl Sawyer
Part of harlequin's series of short novels based on "real heroines."
A young women juggles a produce business, a new job as an CPA, and raising her little sister. And then she meets the restaurant own sponsoring a contest at her sister's middle school....
It had a good idea, and started well, but ended abruptly without a real conclusion to the sister conflict, or even enough romantic progression. In the end, it felt like half a novel.
