In this hefty thesis novel, Sitchen proposes the theory that the ancient tales of te Anunnaki were actually records of a lost civilization of spacemen who came to earth under the leader Anu, and his two sons, Enki and Enlil. This book is an introduction to various parts of the Ancient Astronaugt theory, supported by evidence found in ancient texts. It is a daunting read if all one enjoys is fiction, but if you can get around the archaeological jargon, its a fantastic well of ideas.
