Second book in the House of Night series.

I'm liking this series despite all the flaws, and there are quite a few, and can't wait to finish the rest of the books once my name comes up on the holds list in the library.

It really is too bad that there are so many pop culture references that are going to date this series so fast, but the characters are still "realistic" for me and I'm loving the interactions between them all. The story moves along well (c'mon, I'm finishing each book in a day... don't want to put them down) and this one even made me a little bit weepy -- just a little bit.

I'm not a reader who's going to get into the 'morality' issues of the book or the obvious pagen vs religious stuff... I read the stories to be entertained and these books entertain me.
