This was a nice ending to the NICE GIRL series. Jane's undead life is starting to become common place (you know, things like work, friends and family). That's when everything falls apart. A teenage acquaintance that she had babysat for is mortally wounded in front of her book store. Her quick decision to turn him, causes long felt repercussions for her and Gabriel.

At the same time Jane is trying to figure out how to be a responsible sire, Gabriel is struck with a poisoned arrow and forces her to reevaluate what is important to her. Her life is further complicated when Grandma Ruthie passes away and decides to haunt Jane's house with the hope of taking it over.

We are left at the end with the best of resolutions on all fronts, and a hope that Jane and Gabriel get to enjoy their eternal life together.

Like the others in the series, this was a fun, quick read. Highly enjoyable.
