It's hard to believe a story like this can be told in sixty pages... actually I think it's pretty believable. I was disappointed by Hawthorne, the synopsis and reviews led me to believe that it would leave me on the edge of my seat. I thought this was suppose to be a ghost story. It honestly felt like I was watching a Lifetime movie. I found myself skimming what little pages their are. I feel terrible for giving a review like this because it seems like Sarah Ballance is a wonderful writer, mother and person. I give this two stars because the ending was actually surprising and it was pretty much the only part of the story I enjoyed. This would possibly make a good movie if more thought and detail were put into the story.

Sarah Ballance Thank you so much for your honesty. I find that in itself a compliment. ;c)
