Well, you cant accuse Shawn Colvin of not being honest in this memoir. Sometimes maybe she's just a little too honest, leaving me to wonder what her teenage daughter will think when she reads her mom's book. Overall though, a pleasant, quick read for the summer. If you're a fan of her music---which I am---there are some interesting insights into some of her songs. She spends a bit too much time chronicling all her failed relationships and her bouts with clinical depression. But I guess those things have been significant in her life so I suppose they're fair game.
