Loved this book!

There's no tedious beginning, childish banter or teen drama like some YA fiction.

Essallie has a bad feeling about her new bf and quite rightly so....he wants to sacrifice her!
This awful event brings her into contact with the seemingly evil demon, Kayden. With the events of that fateful evening ingrained into her her life is turned upside down and she's now a social outcast at her new school. The few friends that approach her have their own secrets to hide however and their only revealed to her as she undergoes some life altering changes that she can't avoid.

Relationships change and those she once feared and avoided she can now call friend and more.

Very few editing errors, dialogue has a nice easy flow and left me wanting more. Essallie herself is a complex teenager that has depth and really makes you feel for her. The writing is nail biting stuff at some points which has you glued to the page.

Can't wait for Obumbrate!
