Gray & Dillion, SIGH. This book is one of the best in the series I think -- however, I might just have to go back and re-read the others again to be sure ;) Laura Wright did an awesome job of completing Gray and Dillion's story which began in the first book of the Mark of the Vampire series. Seeing two such scarred and wounded individuals find their places in the world was an amazing adventure that I couldn't put down.

Dillion, a beast that shouldn't have survived past birth, learned early that she was the only one she could trust her own survival too. Gray, a slave fighting for the freedom of himself and others struggles to understand why even family lies and love isn't always easy. Together, they learn that everything isn't as it seems and that the easy thing isn't always the best thing - running doesn't solve anything. Family and Love can mend all hurts and lead us through all wars.
