A portrait of several founding fathers by award winning historian Gordon Wood.

Not for those who believe that the Founding Fathers were gods without fault - several of the reviews on make it clear that listeners were appalled that he would document their lack of true red white and blue credentials. Still, if you were interested in them as rounded humans, this shows both admirable and less so traits. Probably not a single source book.
