Poppy Wyatt had a disastrous day. She lost her valuable engagement ring which had been in Magnus' family for years, and then her phone was stolen. She found a cellphone dumped in a trash bin, and proceeded to use it. This led her to meet Sam Roxton, whose former personal assistant had chucked the phone. A humorous, complicated, and sometimes sweet series of events follows, many involving text messages and e-mails.

This book is light and funny, and reminds me of a crazy sitcom. Don't expect any realism or anything serious, but hopefully you'll be laughing all the way through the book like I did. Poppy's hair may be darker, but she's the kind of woman that "blond jokes" are written about. It's a cute book to read on the beach, or as a break from more serious reading.
