Holy fuck.

I've always been a completist, but I don't think I can stomach any more of this. This is horrendous and I blame you, Goodreads users, for hyping it so much. I'm torn between which one is worse, this or Twilight. Gee, I actually would have to go with this one. At least the first Twilight book was moderately readable. I've always said Twilight was fanfiction of Twilight. Well, this is therefore fanfiction of fanfiction. It's THAT bad. But not bad enough to have campy cultish value. I mean, sure it's sort of the Room of books (the worst film ever made, directed by Tommy Wiseau), but at the same time, it's not really crossing "so bad it's good" territory. There are some quotable lines in this piece of crap. And the main character has a mockable catchphrase ("Holy fuck!"). Maybe one day I will pick this P.O.C. up again, but I've read enough to have a solid verdict.

Alyssa That it's based off of fanfiction the author wrote FOR Twilight is no surprise. I'm planning to read it so I can critique it properly, but I'm sincerely dreading it.
