This book has soooo much info in it on so many different subjects on self-sufficiency, gardening, cooking, etc. it is unbelievable. Not the most well organized book, but the author makes it for it by putting her very heart and soul and 32 years of experience right out there. At some points in the writing she is a young mother with one baby, other times with 6 children and mostly teenagers, and others she is middle aged and divorced. Many different perspectives on 'country living' all in one book.
