I tried to read this as I would a novel, but this is one of those books that is better enjoyed one little bit at a time. It was nice to see Dirk Gently again, although I would have liked to find out if Gusty Winds really was possible... and more about the kangaroos.
I enjoyed the interviews with Adams, and the bits of insight as to how his mind works - I was especially amused by his being the first (recorded!) person to suffer from text-thumbs and his essay about trying to ride a manta ray.
I may just have to buy this (and Last Chance to See, if I can find it!), and round out my collection. Truly a wonderful mind was at work and play in Adams, and his death is a loss to fans and friends alike.
