it was ok

It was a free book via my Amazon Prime membership and, after finishing Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, I was intentionally searching for something light and mindless. It was truly mindless. Everything you want to know is in the book description. Two friends (though Cami would call Chrissy a friend, I don't know) run off to a borrowed beach house to escape Chrissy's truly dreadful scandal, which was conveniently loaned to two ridiculously gorgeous men during the same week. Hijinks ensue (not really) and, well, you can imagine what happens. But not really, because the ending is just plain silly. It was a WEEK, after all. Ugh. I have read "chick lit" before and some of it is quite enjoyable and smart. But this was just not my cup of tea. The ongoing flirtation between Cami and Nick is cute, but that's about it.
