Another excellent book in the Pendergast series. This one marks the end of the unofficial "Diogenes" trilogy that exists within the larger series and nicely wraps up the events of the previous two books. I really like seeing the other characters in this series as each of them have their own distinct personalities and act as each other’s foils extremely well. My only complaint for this novel is one that I see in most Preston/Childs books and that is that they have a tendency to drag out the climactic scenes a tad too much. Just when the action should be barreling down at you at tremendous speed...well, it just keeps rolling. But that is a minor quibble and I am pleased to continue reading this great series.
